I work hospital floors, so whatever I wear has to survive gloves, sanitiser and constant movement. Sprayed Ember at seven in the morning and could still catch it on my collar driving home nine hours later. Nothing I have owned holds on like that.

Two people at work asked what I was wearing.

I keep Riviera in my desk and do one spray before meetings. Both compliments came from across the table, which has never happened with anything else I own. When I tell people it costs twelve dollars they assume I am joking.

I ordered it expecting to send it back.

I own the original, which cost me $310, so I wore them side by side for a full day, one on each wrist. The opening is nearly identical and by the drydown I honestly could not tell my wrists apart. I have not reached for the big bottle since.

Came back and bought three as gifts.

Cascade was for me. Then my sister smelled it, then my dad asked about it, then a friend who is impossible to buy for had a birthday. The size makes it an easy present, and so far everyone thinks I spent far more than I did.

I wish the bottle were bigger. That is the whole complaint.

Ten millilitres goes quicker than you would think when you wear it every day, and I do wear it every day, which probably tells you everything. Dusk pulled me off the designer counter after fifteen years. I just wish I could buy it in 30ml.
